This event is part of the Arabic film series “Beyond Spring”, organized by Mayadin Al-Tahrir e.V., EUME and the Werkstatt der Kulturen.

Synopsis:
In the midst of the Syrian turmoil, the joint passion for arts leads Rafat, the director of this film  to encounter in a trip to North Syria a group of young hopeful friends who are gathered around the ballet dancer Ahmed, army deserters Mohammed and Taj. Despite the difficult circumstances and the conservative society in their hometown Manbij, the young men use the new fragile freedom to realize their dream and create a creative space they call “Home”.
